Both have narratives of about 45 pages.  Both are asking the New York City government for money.  It is an arduous task balancing my full-time job responsibilities, the occasionally added--but extremely time consuming--responsibility of proposal writing, and my graduate studies; nonetheless, I am happier than ever to able to juggle these chores.  The key to my pleasure is that perk of so much non-profit work, that what I am doing will bring others joy and success.  It is 2 am, so I might sound a bit sappy.  But, it is really true.  And, in case this sounds like charity work, know that it is not.
